Shipping Information

At Schalkx Aquatics, we take pride in carefully packaging every order to ensure your products arrive safely and in excellent condition.

Processing Times

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Shipping will be completed on Monday, unless availability dictates otherwise. During periods of high demand, processing times may be slightly longer. Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information (when applicable) once their order has been dispatched.

Canada-Wide Shipping

We currently ship across Canada.

Flat Rate Dry-Goods Shipping: $18.99 CAD

A flat shipping rate of $18.99 CAD applies to most orders shipped within Canada, regardless of province or territory.

Free Dry-Goods Shipping: Orders over $99 CAD (before taxes) qualify for free standard shipping within Canada.

Dried Botanicals & Lightweight Items

Select orders containing only dried botanicals, leaves, seed pods, cones, bark, and other lightweight dry goods may be shipped using economy mail services when appropriate. Tracking may not be available for economy shipments. These shipping rates may be discounted solely at the discretion of Schalkx Aquatics.

Live Animal Shipments

Live livestock shipments are subject to additional shipping requirements and rates based on destination, weather conditions, and courier availability.

To ensure the health and safety of our livestock:

  • Live animal orders are shipped Monday.
  • Schalkx Aquatics reserves the right to delay shipments due to extreme temperatures, severe weather, or transportation disruptions.
  • Customers are responsible for being available to receive live shipments on the first delivery attempt.

Shipping Delays

Once an order has been handed over to the shipping carrier, delivery times are outside of our control. Schalkx Aquatics is not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Weather events
  • Carrier service disruptions
  • Customs inspections
  • Labour disputes
  • Natural disasters
  • Incorrect shipping information provided by the customer

Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Additional shipping charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses may be the responsibility of the customer.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package arrives visibly damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and retain all original packaging materials.

If a tracked package is lost in transit, Schalkx Aquatics will work with the shipping carrier to investigate and assist in resolving the issue. Replacement or compensation may be provided at our discretion once the carrier's investigation has concluded.
